Bob

Did you know that Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is a common side-effect of treating prostate cancer? Nearly 30% of men over 60 will not respond to oral therapies prescribed for Erectile Dysfunction (ED), leaving millions of men looking for an effective solution. Here’s Bob’s story about his experience with Erectile Dysfunction post-prostatectomy and how an inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP)* restored his sexual livelihood.

"I developed ED Post Prostatectomy in February, 2004. I was 65 and had never had a prior history of ED. I studied the literature and attended ED Seminars for several years and finally got to speak with two men who had a penile implant procedure done. This convinced me to move forward and I had my penile implant procedure done three weeks later by Dr. Hossein Sadeghi-Nejad. In retrospect, this proved to be one of the best decisions I have made. It truly "gave me my life back"; just as the two men I spoke with had said it would and, also restored emotional intimacy with my wife."

What is an Inflatable Penile Implant?

The inflatable penile implant is a self-contained, fluid-filled system that is made from special materials. It is designed to emulate the look and performance of a natural erection. It is concealed entirely within the body and is not visible to the naked eye.

Bob provides answers to those wishing to speak directly to a former Erectile Dysfunction (ED) patient that has a penile implant. Bob speaks warmly, openly and candidly about his previous ED issues, research to find a solution, experience, post surgery discomfort, using the device, change in sex life, and his continued experience.

This is a free service for those wishing to speak directly to Bob about his experience. Women are also encouraged to call to learn about his wife’s perspective on implants. Bob only shares his individual experience and knowledge: medical questions must be discussed with a qualifying physician.
